The Laura Coin Purse comes in our Woven Leather, which is characterized by its layered strips of soft leather. Springfield works with a group of women in Bilpar, a small village on the outskirts of Kolkata, who weave leather. Currently, around 40 housewives work from home, allowing them to earn a sustainable income while still fulfilling their domestic responsibilities, such as childcare. By providing these women with employment opportunities and supporting their skills, we are making a positive difference in their lives and the lives of their families.

Our premium sustainable leather is tanned without the use of harmful chemicals and has no synthetic finishes. Due to the open structure, scratches and irregularities in color and texture are part of this leather. The leather will develop over time and look even better the more you use it!
